Privacy Policy

Your trust is the foundation of everything we build. This policy explains what data Omnif AI collects, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it.

Omnif AI (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides WhatsApp Business API, broadcast messaging and AI chatbot services to businesses in Qatar and the wider Gulf. We are committed to protecting the privacy of both our business customers and the end-users who message with them.

This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) and, where applicable, the WhatsApp Business and Meta Platform terms. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

Effective date: 3 July 2026  ·  Last updated: 3 July 2026  ·  Applies to: omnifai.qa & all Omnif AI services

01  Who we are

Omnif AI is a technology company based in Doha, Qatar. We help businesses automate customer conversations on WhatsApp through the official WhatsApp Business Platform. This policy covers our website (omnifai.qa), our chatbot and broadcast products, and any related demos, communications or support we provide.

For any privacy-related questions, you can reach our team using the contact details at the end of this policy.

02  Information we collect

We only collect the data we need to provide and improve our services. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

Information you give us

  • Contact & account details — your name, business name, email address, phone number and role when you book a demo, sign up, or contact us.
  • Message content — the messages, media and information exchanged between you (or your customers) and the WhatsApp chatbots we operate on your behalf.
  • Business & billing information — company details, service plan and payment information needed to deliver and invoice our services.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and interactions on our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Message metadata — delivery status, timestamps and phone numbers processed through the WhatsApp Business Platform to route and report on conversations.

03  How we use your data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Set up, operate and maintain your WhatsApp chatbot, broadcast campaigns and automations.
  • Respond to enquiries, provide support, and communicate about your account or a demo you requested.
  • Improve our chatbot accuracy, service quality and website experience.
  • Process payments, prevent fraud, and keep our services secure.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content of your customers’ messages for advertising.

04  WhatsApp & Meta platform

Our services run on the official WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you or your customers communicate through WhatsApp, that communication is also subject to WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy and Meta’s terms.

We process WhatsApp data strictly to deliver the messaging services our business customers have configured — such as sending broadcasts to opted-in recipients and handling automated replies. We adhere to WhatsApp’s Business Messaging Policy, including rules on user consent, opt-outs and permitted message categories.

05  Legal basis for processing

We process personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so, including:

  • Consent — for example, when a customer opts in to receive WhatsApp messages or you agree to marketing communications.
  • Contractual necessity — to deliver the services you have signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — to run, secure and improve our business, provided your rights do not override these interests.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law.

06  Sharing & disclosure

We share personal data only where necessary, and only with parties that are bound to protect it:

  • Service providers — trusted vendors who help us host, process payments, analyse usage or provide the WhatsApp Business Platform (including Meta).
  • Legal & regulatory bodies — where required by Qatari law or a valid legal request.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with appropriate safeguards.

We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties for their own marketing.

07  Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, to provide our services, or to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it. You may ask us to delete your data earlier, subject to any obligations that require us to retain it.

08  International transfers

Some of our service providers, including the WhatsApp Business Platform, may process data on servers located outside Qatar. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards and in line with Qatar’s data protection law.

09  Data security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our systems. WhatsApp messages are protected by the platform’s own security. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10  Your rights

Under Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016), and subject to certain conditions, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Request deletion of your data where there is no legal reason for us to keep it.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
  • Opt out of marketing messages, including by replying “STOP” to any WhatsApp broadcast.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.

11  Cookies & tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages so we can improve them. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if you do.

12  Children's privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and their adult customers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

13  Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
